The hand-held units send messages directly to the pagers.
What is required for the most basic system?
One hand-held unit and one pager.
How many hand-held transmitters can be used in one system?
Anywhere from 1 to 999,999 transmitters can be used in one single system.
Is there a service fee for the pager?
No. You own both the transmitters and the pagers.
Is there anything to install?
No. REQUESTAR is completely wireless and requires no installation.
Who gets the message when I push the button?
Each transmitter button can alert a different pager or a group of pagers.
How far will they transmit?
1/4 mile coverage can be expected.
What if I need to cover an area larger than 1/4 mile?
The FM-RPT signal repeater assists for larger area coverage. When the FM-RPT repeater is placed within 1/4 mile of the transmitters, it will retransmit the message for larger area coverage. Contact FOX for more information.
